Our fell bred organic Lamb is hung for 1 week to allow it to develop a rich taste and flavour. Our fresh lamb is renowned for its distinctive taste and eating quality a result of lambs maturing on heather and moor land grasses. Our lamb can be ordered in half or whole. A whole lamb weighs between 14 - 18 kgs.
Our heather reared Mutton is hung for 2 weeks, and is succulent, tender and tasty with a more gamey flavour, it has a higher levels of beneficial omega 3, than conventional lowland lamb. Our mutton is produced to HRH Prince Charles backed Renaissance Mutton organisation. Our mutton can be ordered in half or whole. A whole mutton weighs approximately 25 kgs.
