Deep Clough is situated in the Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty in the valley of Littledale. With the heather moorland it makes an ideal habitat for many threatened species of birds. The land is comprised of meadow, pasture and fell ground.
Nathan and Carole Brown moved with their family to Deep Clough in 2004 and are committed to farming using traditional methods and native breeds, which are produced in an environmentally friendly way using the highest welfare standards. Quality is assured as we are members of FABBL Farm Assured British Beef and Lamb which means our meat is fully traceable.
We are members of the countryside stewardship scheme which supports farmers who manage land to protect habitats and special heritage sites.
Ours is a family run farm with very low stocking rates. Our animals are grown slowly and naturally and live a stress free life. Hardly any artificial fertilisers are used on farm.
